01

Start with your plate

Snap a photo, describe your meal, enter calories you already know.

02

Fill in the little details

Answer a useful question or two. Pick an option, write your own answer, or use the estimate you have.

03

See the bigger picture

Save your meal and see your day come together—with the assumptions and ranges still attached.

CONFIDENCE, WITHOUT THE GUESSWORK

Some things
a photo can’t tell.

Was that a teaspoon of oil, or a tablespoon? A small bowl, or a generous one?

macros.diet makes those unknowns visible. It asks when your answer can help, and keeps the remaining uncertainty in the estimate.

GOOD QUESTIONS

A little more to know.

How accurate are the estimates?

Photos and descriptions can’t measure every ingredient. We calculate nutrition using USDA data and show a likely range, the assumptions, and the details that could improve it.

Can I just enter a calorie count?

Absolutely. Add a meal name and calories, with optional protein, carbs, and fat. Manual logs don’t need AI analysis.

What counts as a daily log?

Each meal you successfully save counts once, whether it’s AI-assisted or manual. Follow-up questions and failed saves don’t use your allowance.

Do I have to answer every question?

No. If a useful estimate is available, you can review and save it at any point. You can also skip individual questions or type your own answer.

What happens to my meal photo?

We send it for analysis but don’t save the raw photo with your meal. Your saved record contains the nutrition estimate and the details you provided.
